Congratulations to Carol Smith at Hospitality Assured client TLC Care, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Care Awards 2018. It is the first time ever in the history of TLC Care to reach the finals of the National Care Awards 2018 – they had three finalists, Carl for Chef of the Year, Joanna as Housekeeper of the Year and Carol Smith (represented by Alina Pa’un). The evening was amazing with a warm atmosphere celebrating with others our industry and the difference we make to the lives of others.
The Lifetime Achievement in Care Award was an incredibly emotional one as TLC Care recognised and celebrated the contribution of Carol Smith and the difference she made to the residents, team members and relatives. Carol started working at Cooperscroft in 1985 and touched the lives of so many people with her passion, care and dedication. Carol’s lifetime dedication to care was presented to a panel of judges, who also recognised and understood the difference she had made to so many people in dedicating her life to the care of others. Carol won the Lifetime Achievement in Care Award. Alina Pa’un collected the award for Carol, pictured above with some of the TLC and Cooperscroft Care Home team.
