Hospitality Assured client TLC Care are celebrating….four of their seven Head Chefs have made the FINAL Cook Off for the National Chef of the Year Competition, by NACC
The 3 Head Chefs who will be representing TLC Care in the National Chef Competition – COOK OFF – on the 13th March 2019 are:
- Carl Weston
Current Catering Manager at Cuffley Manor, Carl was awarded as one of the top 5 Chefs of the Year in the National Care Awards, as well as he created the winner menu for the Care Caterer of the year 2018 Award. Carl presented a very special Signature Menu as per the attached pictures, as well as with the following offering:
- Chicken breast stuffed with black pudding served with creamed potatoes, pea puree, chantenay carrots, crispy chicken skin and bisto chicken gravy …
- Bruleed lemon tart served with creme fraiche and fresh raspberries ..
- Juliana Martins
Current Head Chef at Carlton Court, Juliana was awarded Winner of the Care Caterer Of The Year 2018 Award, Chef Competition. Juliana presented a very special Signature Menu / “My Life in one dish” as per the attached pictures, as well as with the following offering:
- A la Gabriele Home made fresh ravioli with butternut squash and goat cheese on buttered sage sauce.
- Sweet Eilish’s Chocolate surprise.
- Anas Alsaadi
Current Head Chef at Cooperscroft, Anas brought his Catering Team to top 3 in UK at the Care Home Catering Awards 2018. Anas presented a very special Signature Menu as per the attached pictures, as well as with the following offering:
- Volcano Lamb Chops
- Cinnamon Sticky Fig
(Due to personal reasons, Jyoti Patel (Head Chef at Karuna Manor) will not be able to participate in the cook off but her application was originally successful)
