Hospitality Assured Award Winners Announced at IoH Awards: 21/6/18

The winners of the 2018 Hospitality Assured 20th Anniversary Awards were announced this week as part of the Institute of Hospitality Annual Dinner and Awards at The Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London.

The Hospitality Assured award finalists and winners represent the highest quality levels of service, operations and management within the sector.  The winners are chosen by a group of highly respected judges with in depth knowledge of the hospitality sector, who had a real challenge this year, as the calibre was so high. There were four awards; two ‘scored’ awards and two judged awards based on submissions made by organisations that are assessed by Hospitality Assured. In this the 20th anniversary year, there was a special Anniversary Award, based on the Hospitality Assured values; Excellence, Collaboration and Making a Difference.

The 2018 winners are:

  • Team of the Year – Mitie 1 team at Vodafone
  • Hospitality Assured 20th Anniversary Award – St Monica Trust
  • Most Improved Score – University College Birmingham
  • Best Newcomer – Cuffley Manor Care Home by TLC & Lancashire County Council’s School and Residential Care Catering Group
