Hospitality Assured, a standard for service and business excellence in the hospitality industry, has awarded The Hawthorns Eastbourne with an accreditation following a recent assessment. The Hawthorns Eastbourne is an independent living retirement community in this south coast town, providing a quality retirement lifestyle with hotel standard services and facilities for over 130 residents in their wide range of apartments and bungalows.
The Hawthorns Eastbourne has been awarded a score of 67.3% following the accreditation process which encourages businesses to look at their operations from the customer’s perspective. Organisations being assessed have to meet nine requirements including quality standards, developing a culture of excellence and service ideals, which are delivered to the customer.
